‘LIVING COLOR’

Erin Balch creates an alternate reality, a “visual narrative with haunting tension”. Some of the crreatures in her work are drawn by her sister Sarah who has Down Syndrome, they then become part of Erin’s painted narrative of memories, impressions and moments that involve a choice or a conclusion drawn.Audrey Heard uses strong contemporary design, extravagant color in unconventional combinations. Her prints are published nationally and internationally.Meg Hunt is a New London native. Her subject matter is strange and varied but narrative in structure, abstraction plays with realism, layering dense ideas together to make surreal compositions.Christina Bowdler is a contemporary sculptor working in non-traditional materials, reworking and redefining objects, she is drawn to paper products, latex paint and thread.
Don’t miss this very colorful event at the Hygienic Art Galleries & Art Park.
