"Crossing the Bridge"

On April 22, 2006 in New London, Connecticut at 7:00 to 10:00 pm, the Hygienic Art Galleries will hold an opening reception for our first annual juried invitational show, “Crossing The Bridge”. Ronald L. Crusan, Director and CEO of the Lyman Allyn Art Museum is our Juror.

Please join us for a great opportunity to participate in a regional show where Crossing The Bridge brings you into the Heart of Downtown New London. We welcome all to this spring celebration to kick off the season and enjoy the Hygienic Art Galleries and Art Park.

The exhibit closes on May 13, 2006 at 6:00 pm. Gallery hours Thursday 11-3, Friday and Saturday 11-6, and Sunday 12-3.

Please join us for a special juried invitational open to all artists. A great opportunity to participate in a regional show where "crossing the bridge"brings you in to the Heart of Downtown New London. Entry fees: $10.00 for single entry, $15.00 for two entries, and $20.00 for three entries.
   

Artists may submit up to 3 pieces to be considered. All media welcome. All work must be current. No works previously shown at Hygienic will be accepted. All works must be suitably framed with wires and ready for hanging. No clips or saw tooth hangers. All metal frames must have hangers and wire. Work submitted must not exceed 72" in either direction. Sculpture must be easily transportable no more than 100 pounds. All work must remain for the duration of the show. Hygienic assumes no liability for damage, loss or theft of submitted work. All artists are responsible for insuring their own work. Hygienic will retain 30% of sales and collect 6% CT state sales tax. Hygienic will not be responsible for unclaimed work.
